Hampton Inn Gallipolis offered a pleasant blend of comfort and warmth during my recent business trip. The welcoming check-in experience, anchored by a wonderfully kind staff member named Linda, truly set a positive tone for my stay. I found their daily breakfast a delightful surprise, rich in variety and quality—definitely a step above many establishments I've encountered across the U.S. The room's decor left something to be desired, with paint peeling near the ceiling, and the beds were uncomfortably firm, making restful nights elusive. On a brighter note, the indoor pool and fitness center provided a lovely escape after long days, despite an excessive heat setting in the hot tub. I appreciated the amenities like dry cleaning and complimentary Wi-Fi, which cater to both business and leisure travelers looking for a comfortable base. This hotel might not be perfect, but it embraces the charm of Gallipolis—an almost hidden gem in a quiet corner of Ohio.
